Dance Class

Kathleen started training in ballet at the age of 3, she cried the first time she was put into a leotard. She gained all of her RAD exams with the Dance Academy in Bray, under Cynthia O’Dunlaing. When she was 12 she joined the Irish National Youth Ballet, At 15 she left Ireland to train in the States, with the dance department of the Florida State University. Touring with the Tallahassee Ballet and guesting with the South Georgia Performing Arts. She finshed her degree in Contemporary dance performance with the Northern School of Contemporary dance. As a dancer and aerialist she has been lucky to tour the world with various companies including Dance Theatre of Ireland and Fidget Feet.

As a teacher Kathleen has taught all over Europe for both professional companies and organisations: Dance Theatre of Ireland, En Knapp(Slovenia), Dance House Dublin, Dansens Hus Copenhagen and The Irish Pole Dance Academy amongst others, teaching Ballet, Contemporary, Pole and flexibility.
