Azrael Mortiz

Azrael Mortiz began his circus journey in 2014, building his foundation through self-training and dedication. He later refined his technique under the guidance of aerial coach Barbara Zurita. Specialized in aerial silks, he also has experience in rope, ground acrobatics, hand-to-hand as a base, catcher, and poi.

His style combines dynamic movement, drops, and classic circus artistry. Azrael has worked professionally in Chile and Montreal as both an artist and coach. He worked as head coach at Escuela de Circo Los Placeres in Valparaíso. He also collaborated with Escuela Du Sol in Atacama and Le Château de Cirque in Montreal. His performance experience includes corporate events, weddings, private productions, and the Complètement Cirque in Montreal.

With over ten years of coaching experience, he has trained students of different levels. He is now relocating to Ireland to grow within a strong circus community. Azrael aims to continue performing, teaching, and creating meaningful artistic work.
