Kate Dunne

Kate is an Irish aerial dance artist based in Lisbon, Portugal. She is the co-founder of Lisbon Silks Meet (2025, 2026) and has taught and performed across Europe, Asia, and the Middle East, including as resident verticals coach at Bliss Circus, India (2023) and guest tutor in Palestine (2020, 2022). Kate is a regular instructor at the Irish Aerial Dance Festival and has also taught at the European Aerial Dance Festival, with a focus on accessibility in circus arts. She has also taught at various Rope Meet's (2023, 2024, 2026).

She co-created the workshop Vertical Play with Emmen Donnelly, blending technical repertoire with creative exploration. Since 2023, they have toured this approach across the UK, Ireland, Germany, Greece, and Austria. Kate also offers private coaching, online mentoring, and regular Pilates classes in Lisbon, alongside her work as a performer and outside eye.
