Marilén Ribot
Multidisciplinary artist and creator of emotional circus and visual poetry performances, she has been on stage since the age of 12, beginning with amateur theatre in Manacor, Mallorca. She later discovered fire juggling in England and developed a passion for circus, training in circus schools in Barcelona, Madrid, Stockholm, and Brussels.
Her disciplines include swinging trapeze and cloudswing, aerial prism, bottle and glass balancing, Cyr wheel, Chinese pole, static and spinning trapeze, aerial silks, knife throwing, fakirism, and whip manipulation.
With 25 years of professional experience in circus arts, she has worked as a freelance artist with various companies, including Gorilla Circus, the Fibonacci Project by 7 doigts de la main, Krystallpalast, Circ Cric, and Circo Wonderland, among others. She has also founded her own companies: Cia. Marilén Ribot, Col·lectiu FRENÈTIC, and Atempo Circ.
She has taken part in two expeditions with Clowns Without Borders—one in Moldova (2006) and another in Poland (2022). She has also worked as a circus teacher for amateurs in Stockholm and Spain, and has led intensive workshops for professionals in swinging trapeze and cloudswing.
She is currently studying Dramatic Arts at ESADIB in Palma and will direct the CRECE Project at Teatro Circo Price in August and September 2026.
