Sasha Krohn
Sasha is a Dublin-based acrobatic performer who uses aerial straps, hand balance and dance/movement/mime as tools to create his shows and acts.
Sasha uses these physical elements to create sometimes linear, sometimes experimental stories, allowing all sorts of atmospheres to be expressed through physicality.
He has been active on stage for more than a decade and has worked with major companies such as 45 Degrees, TEDx, Platonov Performance Arts Festival, as well as collaborations with world-renowned photographer Nick Knight (“A Beautiful Darkness” exhibition Performance , and Beats by Dre ad ), choreography for the German National Theater (“Let Them Eat Money”), and more.
His teaching follow simple rules. Not one-size-fits-all. Some believe there is a strict system that everyone must follow, but this is a very outdated idea. Sasha works with everyone on a more personal level to demonstrate their potential and strengths and build on that to help students reach where they want to be.
