Zaki Musa (www.zakimusa.com) is an award-winning aerial performer, choreographer and coach specialising in creative movement on a wide range of apparatus; including the aerial pole, hoop, silks and dance trapeze.

Originally from Singapore, Zaki is now London-based and performs and teaches internationally. He aims to explore themes surrounding identity in his work, and has expertise in act creation and creative flow, coaching a wide range of ability levels and age groups. Zaki takes an interdisciplinary approach to aerial, working to develop pathways through incorporating a wide range of functional movement and dance practices. His core focus lies in developing a strong sense of musicality, transitions, and flow to develop his own personal style on the apparatus.

His performing credits include most notably working with Upswing Aerial for their Circus Flavours shows across London, Bassline Circus for their On Air show for Bristol Pride, performing with Tsar B in front of a 10,000 strong audience at the Ancienne Belgique, Belgium, the Postcards Festival for Jackson’s Lane and was recently crowned the Professional Open Champion at the 2019 UK Aerial Performance Championships.
